We often see disruptions in the care journey that lead to clinical promises that are not kept in real life (disease escalation, clinical inertia or simply an uncontrolled disease). These failures also have a huge economic impact on our societies. In France alone, it has been estimated at 9 billion euros per year (IMS Health study, 2014).
We must not forget that the most expensive drug is the one that is not taken by the patient.

In Observia's view, the burden on patients should no-longer be seen as a "patient problem" but as a problem for us all.
