OPC™
Ready-made features
Observia Patient Cloud (OPC) is our in-house library of secured and ready-to-configure e-health features.
We co-designed these features with healthcare stakeholders, and each one is grounded in real-life considerations.
To ensure all stakeholders’ needs are met, we have created more than 40 features.
The ability to combine these features as needed makes designing programs and tailoring them to users simpler than ever.
Combining expertise and flexibility
One-size-fits-all doesn’t work in e-health, and we strive to find the right balance between flexibility and standardization. We know that you need your solution to be adaptable and to address a multitude of needs.
To achieve that balance, we designed OPC to be modular. Our platform is compatible with:
- Multiple users: HCPs, patients, organizations, and technology professionals
- Multiple devices: tablets, smartphones, and desktops
- Multiple systems: email, SMS, chatbots, apps, and call centers
Our features are a technical infrastructure that you can customize by deciding:
- Where to implement it within the user flow
- Where data come from and where they go
- What data to follow and how to visualize them (for example, you can choose what a form will look like and what questions it will ask)
- How features will look (OPC’s front and back ends are developed separately)
The right message for the right person
We believe in personalized health, and personalization is the number one driver of engagement in our societies. We draw inspiration from what works in other consumer contexts like entertainment and use it to improve the relationship between patients and their health.
We have automated the personalization of our solutions. Our AI-based engine, d.tells™, personalizes our solutions using behavioral data from our proprietary behavioral diagnostic tool, SPUR™ (now a full feature of OPC), and other relevant information such as age, condition, and gender.
Scale and re-use at will
You need a program that is both durable and cost-effective and that can be seamlessly modified for different pathologies, countries, and languages. The OPC platform is designed to accommodate multiple contexts at the same time. You can:
- Employ different languages
- Determine user rights
- Manage content
- (Dis)activate features
Our approach is to first design a master platform—a technical framework that centralizes data and code—and then develop different instances.
Our setup allows us to develop and deploy a first version of a solution, which we can later update and complete with other technical features if needed.
